Unfortunately a late Post as I have been tardy in religiously keeping a record of my training towards first the wild goose 100in June.
To start a summary of the training :
Bike : Just 84 km mainly short rides for recovery and commute to work .
Run 206km or 26 hrs for the month ...with the longest run 3 hours
strength work Just 4 hours
and 1 swim
A good slow start
Highlight for the month was a recee run with Shaun at Avon we did 22.5km with 8km bush bashing as the GPX was not really a proper trail . Lots of fun . Not
