Week 34 and 35 Rain

A very wet July in Perth and John Forrest National Park

Another week of training and a week closer to WTF 100 miler. This was a wet week and as it turned out Perth's wettest July since 1995. I had the usual sessions on the week days and started the strength work outs .On the weekend despite the rain ran at John Forrest on both days and got a little wet .It was windy and on Saturday there were lots of walkers but on Sunday not as many but I did run in the afternoon on Sunday . It was great experience with the wind howling and the trees really rocking around. During the week and weekend a lot more meditation especially in the car and longer meditations session with the group on Wednesday.

The following week was an easy week and I skipped the Sunday run with a sore back from the strength training .Finding I am getting better at the workout in the gym . Overall a good break and back to a few big weeks before taper . The runs at John Forrest were interesting as a few months earlier everything was dry and now all the streams were gushing . Couldn't even cross one on the Sunday after crossing it on the Saturday. Saturday after the run having my first Plant based burgher from Hungry Jacks and Molly watching keenly despite my best efforts to explain to her it was not meat.
